When are we going to call out this company for doing small layoffs to stay under the WARN number to keep it quiet and implementing RTO to make our lives miserable so that the EC gets the attrition they are looking for? Rick said no plans to change RTO in 2025 because he knew he was going to change it for 2026 and no large scale layoffs because he has a bunch of small scales ones planned. He doesn't want to be called a liar like Walt was but I'm tired of them not being transparent about what they have planned. This place used to care about employees but now its the same corporate McKinsey nonsense we see everywhere else. Executives getting insane amounts of stock compensation and trying to make it sound like we are getting a good deal getting less than three percent raises and an extra 10 percent bonus. 100k comp is comparable to 54k 20 years ago

sHoW eM oN tHe gLiNt SuRvEy. That survey is a joke, my team had a horrible manager a couple of years ago, we rated her and the entire survey so poorly that she was in the top 1% of the worst managers in the firm two years in a row, literally nothing at all happened to her nor were we ever asked to clarify. People relying on the survey to make a difference are going to be waiting a longggg time
@nh We are not asked by HR to audit Glint responses. My SVP or EVP may ask so the cover story can be consistent.
I agree with you assessment. Managers are prompted by h.r. to track down those who created the low scores. Those low scores make managers look bad and face retaliation from h.r. so the managers punish those that enter them. At some point, employees need to stand up and say what they really feel on the survey and hope that others do the same.
You get retaliated against for low survey scores nothing productive only targeted and assigned more work
@mt Low marks are dismissed as disgruntled employees or anomalies not understanding the prompt. The only way to message is to not fill out the Glint survey.
If you really wanted to make a difference, slam them on that god forsaken survey. Employees' arms are twisted to put down positive responses on it so that dirtbag Rick Worst-er feels that he's doing a good job. A terrible score on that survey for a few quarters could cause problems for the top.@dy
While all of this is true calling it out won’t change a thing because leadership has made it painfully clear they only care about enriching themselves. Most of us are nothing more than a potential layoff target, not even worth a cost-of-living raise.
And the tone comes from the top. When Chuck is perfectly comfortable sitting down with someone like MBS ( infamous for ki-ling critics and oppressing women) why would anyone expect integrity or decency from the layers of leadership beneath him? They are just following the example: power over principle.
Morale is at an all time low because we see the truth & the job market keeps us stuck in a place where decency is long gone.
