Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

Teamster

Where is the person who said he was going to create a new thread after speaking to teamster? Did he or she flake out?

@k8 So the update I have for now is that I got ahold of an operator who transferred me to the person that I will need to talk to, to get the ball rolling. The call ended up going to his voicemail, so I am waiting for a callback. Fingers crossed!

@g5 No worries, we are all going through this together and I should have updated. I had it in my mind that I didn't want to update until I gathered all the information, but in hindsight, I should I said something so everyone could know that it is still being worked on.

@by my apologies for assuming and I didn’t think about the holidays. My mind is going all over the place with this. I hope we can get some feedback from them soon.

No I didn't flake. I'm sorry, I should have updated. I have been trying to get ahold of Teamsters but realized they were likely closed due to the holiday. I am going to try again on Monday and hope July 4th won't influence that as I don't know how much time they take off for holidays. One update I can give through my research, is that when it comes to remote jobs, we have to go through a Local from the state that the company itself is based out of.

Unionizing is generally state specific.
