Thread regarding Devon Energy Corp. layoffs

Ca-ching

First Marcellus, now, EF and Powder. That’s 12 billion in divestitures. Take that to the bank.

Still won’t help the share price.

@k2 Better be a lot more than just EF . . . better be Marcellus, Anadarko and Powder. Massive headcount reductions go with the divested assets.

Agreed . . . . still need to add in the lame Anadarko and spin it off to a PE company, or a Mewbourne or Continental or smaller independent. All of these need to be announced or complated in 2026 to at least quiet Kimmeridge and TOMS Capital but Gaspar better also be getting the data room ready for early 2027 Bakken divestiture. Even before the final non-Delaware divestiture of the Bakken look for COP, CVX, maybe even XOM or EOG to make a move to acquire DVN. It'll be gone by YE 2027.
