Does anyone have any news about layoffs? Have they started? What can we expect? When are they planned?

Layoffs are at a org/team level. Our team (BMC) had 2 layoffs last week and we were briefed by our manager in a team meeting.
Helix person here. Just wanted to share that I’ve seen and heard some rumblings and I don’t think we’re out of the woods yet. I don’t know specific - just stay sharp.

LinkedIn is alight with “ohh I’ve lost my role” in bmc and helix. That time of year for mass removals, even though they were getting rid of people during the year
As someone who has been notified this week, the relief is insane. You cannot earn back your health and sanity. It’s just not worth it any longer for either of these companies.

Don't for get that BMC also terminate your health insurance on the day you get made redundant.

Helix sales had some major cuts this week, and other orgs within Helix will likely follow suit starting on Monday or sometime early next week. God speed to y’all and keep your resumes updated. This time of year su-ks. Support your colleagues that don’t make it.

Oracle laid off 10k, 30k in total, I think we are in recession similar to 2008. Just not officially.

I see someone has commented on another thread about sales staff in NZ being let go. I heard there is layoffs in bmc ireland but not the sales team
