@a9 Anderon will putter along for two to three years on the federal funding but yes they are not ready to handle or capable of taking on what they claim. They are making promises they can’t deliver on. All those making these promises should be remembered and recorded for the formal record. They should all be held accountable later down the road. It should follow them the rest of their careers.

As an IBM employee of the Albany site, please do this. Ask him the hard questions and don’t let him hide behind vague corporate talking points. The last few months here have been an absolute chaotic, miserable mess of confusion, disorder, and seemingly nonexistent leadership. Morale and MENTAL health across the site is at an all-time extreme lows, and people are fed up.
Someone needs to put these leaders on the spot and demand real answers about what the he-l is going on. They have had plenty of time to get their act together. It’s time for accountability, not more excuses, ambiguity, and “we’ll figure it out.”
Please ask him how long before he rejoins IBM? 2 or 3 years?

They're manufacturing 300nm wafers with i/o and superconducting wiring. Essentially, everything EXCEPT the actual quantum part. The customers will be the various QC companies who will do the quantum stuff themselves using the chip as scaffolding around it.
