I've heard several stories about AVP/VP level terminating L2s for petty items. Are they getting a bonus for doing so? (Cohen org, for reference)

@ej L2 = not bargained
@hk I figured there was some pressure behind what I've observed. These were good performers that are now let go
@dm Someone got fired for reporting to the wrong office
@j8 easy. Give us your name and UID and we’ll take care of it for you. - HRBP
I want outttttt.
@de “rolls”
Go back to your truck and do some undereducated work for the man and get off your COU.
AVP have been tasked to transform the culture. If they don’t change the culture, they will get a calendar invite titled “HR Sync” where an HR rep equipped with a Kornferry script and the current VP in the chain of command. They will get 60 day suspension (vacation essentially) plus normal severance and be terminated with “employment placement support”. How do you avoid “HR Sync” ambush? Make it look like you are changing the culture. Hosting a webcast won’t cut it anymore, you need to fire a few people to show Stankeyvision 2.0 (with 25% more failure). Prison rules, become someone’s bootlick on day one or start licking boots.
Won’t be surprised
Weird. I've never seen that happen to a bargained for employee.
I believe they are compensated for every person off payroll without severance or lawsuits. They would never put such a policy in writing though. They use code words. Efficiency increases etc.
what happened in the Cohen org? Inquiring minds want to know
AVP positions are useless rolls. They are running scared becasue they know there jobs offer no value and they are on the short layoff list themselves.
someone got kickbacks for the purchase of salesforce.........

If you get handed a cookie you're safe. If not handed a cookie get ready..
@a7 Hard to explain the terminations I've seen other than a desire for downsizing
