my doc says age 55 plus ten years of service
Typically RSU vesting has nothing to do with how/why you leave the company (quit, fired, laid off, etc.) RSUs vest according to the schedule in your award(s). The exception is if you are over 55. If under 55, you lose all unvested RSUs. If over 55, you don't lose your RSUs but they continue to vest according to the same schedule. (In other words, you don't get all of your remaining RSUs right away, you still have to wait for them all to vest.)
@ht yes. Age 55+ your RSUs are automatically vested (you retain the RSUs at 55+ regardless of voluntary or involuntary separation).

Unless you’re 55+, you lose them.
You lose them. Its a big F You from United to give them as part of bonus pay then take them away.
Depends on your age at time of separation.
