Long term loyal employees are professionals and do understand the changing business environment. If the business has a need and decide to send them out, atleast pick a decent time to do it, well before or after Thanksgiving week.
Don't punch them hard in their face 2 days before Thanksgiving, they have to show their face to their family when they get home.

I have heard of no mass staffing plans at this time other than the normal q4 freezing of some reqs. Any actions being taken are targeted

It's usually Thanksgiving week. Heck, Frank laid off more folks Xmas week.
Lyons stated that layoffs weren't an answer. Who knows at this point?
So would we expect mass layoff fairly next week then? Is that the usual thing they do?
