Has anyone counteroffer the initial severance package offered to them? If so, did you win get what you asked for? Or did they rescind the initial offer altogether?

Others on here under different posts said they fought it. You might have better luck with an employment attorney cause they wont challenge it the way people think when they think they will be sued. Its all about not having that type of publicity
I asked them to pay my health insurance for the remainder of the year, they didn’t (couldn’t) but added the cash equivalent.

Haven’t heard of anyone winning a negotiation unless they were here at least 20 years AND had a lawyer. Under ten years, don’t even bother
I actually did. I contacted the Separations Team asking if they would consider aligning closer to the 2 weeks per year; similar to their severances in the past (I was there 18 years). It would be extremely helpful to my family in this tough market. They responded simply by saying the agreement is final. Not going to change.
