Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

EU Transparency Directive

Does anyone from you, working in the DXC located in any EU country, has already demanded disclosing the salaries for job positions and gender wage gap? What were the results for DXC?

@1dv try talking to a member directly one on one.

You'll get an answer (obviously not from the UK because the directive doesn't apply to the UK)

I suppose the request has to go through HR, and processing HR tickets takes at least six months. After six days, I’ve already forgotten whether I even opened a ticket; and when HR finally does respond after more than six months, they just hide behind empty phrases.

I simply don't have the energy to hire a lawyer for this.

The sad thing is that the works council prefers to spend all its time in meetings debating whether to approve Tool A or Tool B.

I have never encountered a works council like DXC’s—so indifferent, focusing on trivial matters instead of addressing the things that really matter. But perhaps that’s just an issue with our specific works council.

@gk we have strong rights and protection, there is no soviet union anymore, so stop pretending like it's '70s

I'd take that to your works council. They will get that done.

You can't get a sensible answer out of HR at the best of times, let alone something they really don't want to share. You can expect a lot of being fobbed off, delay and being ignored. Which is pretty much how the entire company is run.
