Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Now that verizon wants store to “Click to Call” for SMB sales while customers are in stores. The reps of those locations will be stuck cleaning up and trying to decipher what the inside sales rep slammed on the customer. It’s common this happens with business. “You want to upgrade Mr Customer, here is 3 new lines and a BI.”

Verizon will start to realize real quick that if store don’t have SMB support, that numbers will start to tank because business customers will stop coming to store, which we already know they love their hands held.

I know there's going to be restructuring

I know ecode is prolly gone

I know R2B might have more doors to support

But what else

No one will know what R2B is by then end of 2026. Rolling to retail once the BSOD takes off and retail numbers get better

A lot of r2b got the boot in my territory. An AD too. Combining territories.

Coastal Plains R2B in a big city market. Entire team under AD told to stay home today. No word on anything else as of yet.

R2B stay home and save on gas. Canceling tablets and activating on new plans game is over. Re-rating and adding a jet pack is done. Faking calls and slamming features culture has ended. Bye.

We were told to meet at our store at 10am . I'm in the Beaver Valley location. My assistant manager is extremely upset and in tears ,he asked for any recommendations about jobs where he can do nothing all day ? I told him a government job would fit. A representative from indirect will also be there. Any other stores involved?

There will be no more R2B. Its going away. Thats a majority of the 15,000 being cut.
