Are we really going to keep the woodlands office after divesting the anadarko?

@f4m. In that case I bet it’s a golden male beaver.
@OP The woodlands office??? Y’all need to be worried about the Denver office. Can you see the writing on the ivory tower? There’s no cash left, there’s no assets left to sell, and there’s no Permian inventory. The only step left for Brend is to spin off Permian and ride the golden beaver back home to Calgary
We'll find out now there a buyer for Anadarko.
@OP “We’re dedicated to a three office model.”
@f8 Whose corks we soak in Calgary is none of your business.
@cg my guess…..you are one of our SMS or Chiefs or worse….one of the Canadian cork soakers. Those 1st two groups are deadweight and a waste of money. Cut those groups down so the hurdle rate isn’t so F’ing high. Side note: Has anyone linked BM to being Voldemort’s cousin? GG looks like a character from Candy Land, quit letting that fool answer questions to investors and maybe the stock will go up. #wholeheartedlynotproud
At least we’re finally getting rid of all the dead weight we got from Newfield. What a waste of money.
Here is how it will go down. Every SVP and VP will rationalize how they need to keep a ton of their staff that is assigned to AOA after it’s gone to fill holes. If land has 100 people and AOA related are 20 of those then GG will say sure keep 18 of them. So we will end up with some very immaterial layoffs that don’t nearly approximate the number of people we have working AOA. Then a year from now during mental health awareness week with oil at $58/bbl they will announce yet another layoff because leadership paid a consultant who to their total surprise found out we were super heavy on headcount as compared to our peers. Ops will hang on to everyone, CDO and chiefs will still have massive numbers of people and we’ll see no change in our number of VP and above employees.
Hahaha!!! HE-L NO!!
@OP Technically yes! But it will only be a few offices for GG and his short list of dwarves. Brendumb will lie to everyone again……but technically there will be one floor left. That is until the next asset is sold. Then that one floor will be closed along with Denver.
That's a prime office building! Rolling stream throughout and feeling of return to nature. Should be an Amazon regional HQ in 2026
