Yeah, it's a joke. Sure, people in general should learn how to leverage AI to make themselves more valuable to their employer, but 99.9% of WF layoffs have nothing to do with an employees capabilities. Whether you're the best ever and an AI God, or you're a useless tu-d that can't even log into their PC with out tech support, Shart wants us all gone. Unless it's 'living in I&P' he couldn't care less what you can/can't do.

It's easy to misinterpret what CS said. He said OUR wages, meaning not YOURS.

@e3 Even if he does he has the chairman position and then will probably be CEO for another place that they can ruin and the cycle continues wherever he goes layoffs happen and company gets worse.

Him saying that AI is a real thing that it will impact all lines of work I don't get how no one in that room said anything like when will executives that do nothing be replaced by AI ? They are taking hand over fist of money while the rest of us have to worry about if we will keep our jobs. It doesn't help that he said you should get use to AI and use it to learn new things. What new things am I to learn when you and your goons plan on replacing all of us and whatever is left to India.

It was the most tone deff meeting ever. When asked about raises he flat out said NO and people laughed along with it. No mention of mandated coming into office 4 days for full 8 hours which people have been talking about for days and tried to get it to him, but at least they asked him how he deals with work life balance by playing guitar, watching YouTube, relaxing in his multi million $ house and also saying that someone working 6 days in office can be the same as someone working 3 days. Right away countering the 4 day mandate that everyone has heard.
