If you work on a control team, your days are numbered. Work that can’t be automated by AI is being shifted to business accountability people. Huge effort to get rid of most controls. Nothing left for anyone to do.

@d5 way to wish ill will on others. These people have lives and families to support. I would never wish you experience the stress of a layoff.
If only someone probed the criminal level of waste in control programs. They are still pretending mindless admin is the number one priority of the company. Can’t wait for it to be dismantled.

I think it’s an effort to make the controls better and more streamlined instead of the current clusterf-ck of controls on top of controls for one simple task.
Will be cut by 50% before the end of 2027.
don't control people have business accountability titles?
You can say the same for every other group (in the US). The controls folks are actually the last to get this treatment. The consent orders etc. kept em around, but that's over now. Brush up the resumes.
