I still have no clue why Dell is sponsoring and renewing H1b Visas while there is unprecedented unemployment in the tech sector right now. They should stop renewing any H1b Visas.

No one is mentioning the obvious is hiring for "cohesion" and creating a hive mind.
Most Indian managers will hire from their own race cause of the caste system and circumvent having to follow western values/morals.
Judging by the down votes, there are a lot of H-1B people on this site. To all you H-1B people, the West is going full throttle on hiring H-1B people. To all of the non-H-1B people, hopefully you have some sort of plan because it doesn't look good. Companies do not care. People that run these companies make millions of dollars and do not have a vested interest in helping the non-H-1B population. It is all about the bottom line.

Dell hires H-1B workers because they can’t find enough skilled Americans who actually want to work hard. Too many U.S. applicants are lazy, entitled, and waste time whining about processes and policies instead of just shutting up and getting sh-t done.
Jumping in here to agree that not all H1Bs are cheap. There are plenty in my space that are I8 and up, getting paid the same as any others here. Most are US university grads though

I don’t know if you’re stupid or a troll but I’m gonna give you the benefit of the doubt and say stupid. Dell hires H1B’s for one reason only. They are cheap. Well, maybe not one reason because they’re also indentured servants.
If you ran an unethical business and you had the choice of either hiring and training someone for $100,000 that had no opportunity to leave you or hiring and training someone for $200,000 that could walk out the door at any minute which would you choose? That’s why Dell hires H1bs.
because they cant find real talent here. not everyone on h1b is cheap labor. I have 2 out of 9 people in my team on h1b and they are the most talented people ever. stop watching fox news and focus and getting a real job
