FYI; Upcoming layoffs planned for November and January

Mid-November layoff is already on going at the moment. They are planning to have about 13-16 technician per manager.

This is a step closer to replacing all the blue badge techs with green badges.

@cv you're either not paying attention or you don't work at Intel. It's been openly announced in recent quarterly meetings that the goal is to run "lights out fabs" as much as possible. Outsourcing starts next year, and I've heard it'll happen as soon as January. Ultimate goal is near complete automation in the fabs

Intel is like the Lehman Brothers of the tech world. Being propped up by the govt as they think it’s too big to fail. Otherwise the stock would be $2. It’s currently at 37$ with a 600 P/E.
