According to some inside guess, the scale of this round of layoffs may be much smaller than originally expected. It appears that only certain departments are accelerating outsourcing to India, with just a single-digit number of U.S.-based employees being laid off, rather than the large-scale workforce reductions that had initially been anticipated.

They will be having monthly RIFs - that is why this round is smaller. Gonna slowly spend that $700M

So far I see no reason to consider Sep14-15 to be more probable than any other date. There was a much stronger case for layoffs to start on Sep01 or Sep08. Heck, it's even a stronger case it will start on Sep30.
I don't know where this Sep14-15 is coming from, there is a Town Hall on Sep15. RSU vesting kicks in on Sep14 and will be running through October. Earnings report is out already.
Why it would be a next week? There only justification of them is this board and this board is raising exactly the same threads about imminent layoffs every single week.
@c4 IDC layoffs are on Tuesday, 15th whereas US is on Monday, 14th. Check slack counts for those days.

Indian offices are having layoffs which I can confirm being in IDC. This is just a fishing post to get information or stress more people. Site should have TeamBlind like requirements with validation that actual insiders are posting information and not random trolls. Also reality for Oracle employees - layoffs will continue regularly now - AI is here to replace us. Oracle is pivoting to be a utility company selling compute. Plan on how to escape this ship ASAP.
