Companies that give this high a raise is usually because people are underpaid. Union jobs are not underpaid when comparing to the industry. Nice try though! Company would have never offered a 40% raise. This is rage bait.
Every union has gotten these raises so it does happen. The union dropped the ball on this.
Garbage! You must be new to company. 40%! More like the usual 4%, 2.5%, 2.5% and a $1500 singing bonus and after 5 or 6 weeks out you will gladly take it in addition to all the give backs.
