I used to like working at First Data for the most part. When frankserv took over it went downhill fast for both companies. There was constant frustration, ridiculous policies and mismanagement. I have been out of this place for a few months now. My wife commented how much I've changed for the good since leaving. She said I am back to being man she fell in love with. That was WOW moment!!!

@cm - I had to chuckle a bit at your comment regarding First Data's takeover of Fiserv. It wasn't too many years earlier that Fiserv people were furious at what they perceived was a CKFR takeover of them! Lots of them complained about CKFR folks, apparently, rolling in and calling all the shots. I was legacy CKFR, so I didn't notice. Whoever took over whom, it barely registered with me. I can't say the same about when First Data arrived on the scene.

@OP It's all relative to when you came on onboard. Checkfree / Fiserv was a decent place until the merger, read takeover, by First Data. One thing is constant. Same upper management / C-suite players cycle through different Fin Orgs. Like a Members Only club, they leave a path and collect handsomely.
