@em some people fresh out of college never experienced pre covid working. They’ve only ever experienced hybrid work.
Also, just because we used to do something a certain way doesn’t mean it’s the better or only way.
It’s human nature to evolve. Why can’t that involve hybrid work for those that want it? If you want to go into the office everyday 8 hours a day, knock your socks off. Others may want hybrid. Give people the choice to decide what gives them the best quality of life.
We’ve been doing hybrid work now for 5 years. And you expect everyone to just be blindly onboard with turning the clocks back? Not to mention pre covid, no one’s time and mouse clicks were being monitored in the office unless you worked in a call center. I don’t know anyone person outside of the call center or investment banking that stayed in the office for 8 hours pre covid.
At this point, I would gladly go back to pre covid if it meant all the tracking and checking in would go away.
