@ch should be your notice period plus one week for every full year you have been employed. But I'm told that Oracle in UK is giving 60-days and a "sweetener" payment (not sure how much)

Anyone knows how many employees afeccted by the RIF in UK ? If nearly 10 %, we might be speaking of nearly 500… that added to RU (400) , Germany (250), Chezchia ( 250) , Ireland (121) and Italy (81) would make a total of 1.600 …still 200 from other countries ( France, Netherlands, Poland, etc ) to make it to the 1800 as per WoC com today ..

What is the redundancy policy in the UK? 2 weeks per year?

Honestly, I try to understand why the WoC inform so late (more than 2 months after thy got the announcement)...
In this while people are becoming mad, with so many ruomours. Seems like they are in the company side instead workers' one.

@br Thank you. So they basically had to say something, to justify their existence. And in doing so, created more chaos. Great job!

@bn The pooly timed communication comes at a time where many people in several EU countries were already shown the door and are either gone or in garden leave.

This communiqué provides a summary of the transnational reorganisation proposal announced by Oracle to the EWC on September 3rd, 2025. This proposal included a restructuring of several Lines of Business (LoBs) and will impact a significant number of employees across the European Economic Area (EEA). As part of this process, Oracle anticipates the possible dismissal of up to 1,865 employees, representing approximately 10% of its EEA workforce.
