Thread regarding Fidelity National Information Services Inc. layoffs

Treasury & Risk town hall cancelled

Was in the calendar for 23 June, now to be “rescheduled following quarter end close”. Probably waiting to see who’s still here to do the presentation.

@cd if you expect fis management to take decisions that make sense I can only assume you are new to fis.

@c2 performance has no bearing on layoffs at all, ZERO.
it's simply a spreadsheet exercise carried out by consultants because the execs have neither the brains nor ba--s to do it themselves.
they simply look at how much someone is paid and how much it costs to get rid of them and make a decision. this is at least better than some previous layoffs where it was simply done by job title irrespective of what you actually did!

the only plus here is people layed off know it isn't because they are cr&p at their job or anything personal.

What do you think that means ? I thought the team has been quite successful this year.

How very odd that it was originally scheduled PRIOR to the end of 2Q 2026 with no problem at all, then it SUDDENLY occurs to them that it needs to be AFTER the end of the quarter? These people could not fight their way out of a wet paper bag.

The calendar changes never lie.

Meetings either canceled at the last minute or added are harbingers.
