I'm applying to pretty much anything that might get me out of here. Hopefully the job market improves soon because I don't see much reason to keep investing in a place that treats people as disposable.

@c2 Company don't lie so much as it picks words with a gap already built in — so later, when you feel lied to, they got a technicality to hide behind. Worse than a lie. A lie's at least honest about the deceiving.
Remember the Town Hall? "No more mass layoffs!" — words built to comfort, not inform. Then it's clusters instead. Same people gone, just spread out so no single day's big enough to call "mass." That ain't a loophole somebody found. That's a loophole somebody built in on purpose, before they ever opened their mouth — say whatever gets the effort out of people today, and never actually lie, just leave yourself room.
I get it. This is a complaint board and we aren’t supposed to speak well of the company…god knows I complain about them often enough but I’ve got bad news for you. Most everywhere else you go you will get a similar, if not worse, experience. I wish you well on your hunt life’s too short to be miserable 40 hours a week but temper your expectations.
But, we are like a family here!
(What? your family doesn't kick members to the curb every couple of years?)
