@f7 yes sheer waste of resources.Practically 0$ contribution to $ revenue and keep harping on one security attack historically..in any other company it would be max a senior director with 10-15 engineers but he is master politician that has survived so long. Nobody can remove him not even Lip buuuu!!! invincible hahahaha!!

Intel needs to get rid off dead weight departments like product security etc.. you have army of enggs, directors, Senior directors, VPs, SVP doing non core function with zero contribution to revenue. With AI why can't you automate it! Pls stop culling hard working chip designers

It would be pretty unusual for some person on an anonymous website to have this level of "scoop" unless you are pretty high in your reporting structure just below the VP level being given significant 2027 HC budget reductions in addition to the already significant Q3 cuts (beyond expected program cuts in Q4).
