Lyons need to start by rewriting the mission and vision statement, and permanently ban trigger words like "meaningful" and" "purpose-driven." The only purpose and mission Bill had was to run the company into the ground and take a meaningful amount of cash with him.

@bx Many folks who were diverse (but who had paid there dues) were chased out in the DEI blowback - there has to be some balance
New mission and values statement: “Hi, we’re a bank”. Not a community service organization, not a font of inspiration, and not a dream factory. Take deposits, make loans, advise on good money management, and grow the economy. Treat employees like human beings and not tentacles of some virtue-signaling kraken hiding beneath the surface. Tell them you appreciate them in meaningful ways that matter to them, and be HONEST. I don’t mind being told no, but at least be honest about it.
Good luck Mike. Changing 50,000 opinions won’t be easy but you can do it.
@dn I'm considered a minority so I get a pass.
@bx Do you ever get tired of blaming your shortcomings and failures on POCs? Last I checked our C Staff is a majority of old white guys making terrible decisions.
The mission and values were all a coping mechanism.
The mission failed. And there is no value. It is all fake. Inauthentic. The people who claim to believe in the failed mission are in on the grift. Swindling people in believing they care only to do rug pull.
I never want to hear the word purpose again!
And limit DEI hires (Didn't Earn It). For real. It got out of hand for a while and the uppityness of some of them.
Purpose Corner definitely needs to die a BillyBob idea
@a9 You got my vote!
I recommend my personal motto, #TeammatesAreTheTreasure
