I'd give anything to be let go with severance. This is not the same company I joined (obviously) and I have no interest in staying here long-term anymore.

As a Suncor gal, I've faced multiple rounds of lay offs in my time with the company, but I can honestly say the morale was never this low as it's with all of you - things pick up again after the wave and people go on about their business. What's different with Imperial?
I am sorry for what you all are going through, wish I could offer some hope but by looks of it from the outside, there isn't any.
It's never too late to make the right decision. And for anyone thinking that it's gonna get better after you move the Edmonton, it's pretty obvious that opportunities will continue to shrink.
With all the departures, I wouldn't expect any more mass layoffs. So your ways of leaving are either voluntary departure, or wait for a PIP.
Lots of people have done well leaving on their own terms and timing for new opportunities and have landed good jobs externally.
@bt I am not op, but I also feel I made a wrong decision . Every thing continues going downhill and I cant imagine moving for this mess of a company.
Pretty much everyone in Calgary had the “opportunity” for a layoff with severance based on saying no to Edmonton.
Are you at another site? Or did you say yes to Edmonton and are now having sober second thoughts?
