@b3 not true we knew exactly who from our group would be impacted but we had no say into whether we thought it was a good decision
@a5 Heard it's across the board, Management and Mid Management today, next level down tomorrow and friday. What is really tacky is that they send a security guard to your desk to walk you out. They did that on the floor today, saw three managers walked out from their desk.
@b5 They pay consultants to come in and recommend the job/positions to RIFTS... This way the upper management is not responsible for any of the Rifts... and upper management (C level) has someone to blame should the rifts cause a negative impact to the company. Every large business does this... I've been in one business that did this 6 times in 3 years... and another that did this before... HCSC is known for rifts at least that is my experience.
Did they at least provide severance??
@b3 and this is what pi---d me off the most. How do you decide to let someone go without talking to their direct manager to understand impact and or how much they do. Utter cr-p
It is across the org. Medicare, IFM, Medicaid, Commercial. It's going on again tomorrow and Friday. Your manager doesn't know if you are going or not.
Several in the Medicaid division.
Yup let go today
It all across the org, someone in network just got let go. They said this is going to go on until Friday, so I am sure they don't want to let you know.
@a5 who??
@a4 “down for maintenance” LOL
So far I have only seen IFM people being laid off
I noticed org chart is down since the morning and it explains here why...
What area are these folks in?
@OP yes. Many.
