Nov 20. Major MAJOR reorganization…talking a reversal of the whole New Verizon thing launched a few years ago. Teams shuffled. 30-40% layoffs. Gonna be total chaos.

Don't really understand the 2 weeks for every year up to 35 weeks. So essentially you don't even get a full 18 years, it's 17.5?! What kind of nonsense is that?!

It also su-ks that's it's capped in the first place. I could see capping it at 30 years, but 17.5 is kinda weak.

That said, I actually have no clue if it's weak or generous, compared to other companies like VZ

I heard something similar to this but have no idea if it is any more accurate than this post. Back to corporate leadership and less VP orgs regionally. It makes sense. Consolidate work and eliminate all of the sub departments that exist in the field. It was done before but with a lot more staff.

Massive change is soon to be upon us. Groups will see reorganization, consolidation and demise. Others could see change to include new locations including in other states.

@bc orgs and leadership will have different approaches. Some SrDir may ask for feedback or names or some not.... how/if they choose is a mystery and very very subjective. As a former Mgr, i was asked for names, in another I was told what the name was - same org, but with different Sr Dir for each..

@bc names came from us based on performance or at least that is how we did it. Managers knows their team and their peers as well and I wasn't shocked to hear any of the names mentioned

Nov 20th confirmed. As an AD I got the names from my Senior Director 2 days ago. 15% GNT with some teams are getting hit really hard.

Reorgs energize us! I am thankful for the blessing to power and empower the way rich executives work, live and play. They are highly skilled visionaries with a legacy rooted in our history of continuous reorgs, rifs and vsps. And they still pay above market pay for armies of individual contributor managers that track the failure in endless slides and systems. It’s a brilliant culture OS which deserves to be featured in Harvard news. Thankful to be a vteamer!

Re-org, yes. Dan even stated he will have the direction (or whatever he called it) by then...

As for the % Riff.... stop the fearmongering. NO ONE knows the real numbers as it can change up until the day the notifications are to be made. There have been notification already with more to come.... to what degree remains a mystery

There will be some teams will be that high but overall it will be 20% of the management workforce. 11 more people had to put on the list Friday when Sc--wman added his PayPal buddy.
