@fp If you feel you must make coffee at work, then put the water in the microwave for a few minutes. Coffee water is not an OSHA violation. Buy your coffee before you get there; make it at home; drink a soda.

But I'm super out of the loop obviously, bc I work at Lenox. I knew there was a main break Thursday and we all left early. But it was fixed and business as usual next day. There's been no email indicating a boil water advisory, and I can't find anything to that effect on any city or watershed site. Do you mind providing a link to the advisory notice?

@fp

But you said “free”.

It was down so they could install dollar bill readers. Water will not be free anymore.

Dufus, the point wasn’t about free coffee. The point is, people had to come to an office where there is no safe water to make the coffee in the first place.

Complaining about the lack of free coffee.

Tell me you are liberal without actually saying you are a liberal.

“And water was back on same day.”

It’s best not to mention facts in discussions with a group of Karen’s.

Obviously most people posting here don’t work at T or they would know. Friday was a water main break, everyone was told to leave and WFH rest of the day. Monday the water was back on, but “boil notice” issued, meaning not safe to drink. Welp, so much for the free coffee. But did they put safety first and tell people to WFH on Monday? No! Everyone had to RTO, as if the company would shut down if people didn’t have their a$$ in seats. Seriously, this is going too far. Brainwashed!!

@ay

OP is probably referring to Lenox since there was a broken main the past Thursday.
