@av I hate potlucks. They just don’t want to spend money to buy food, but I don’t want to be in the same room as most of the people in the office. I sure as he-l don’t want to eat food they prepared.

It is a bank holiday for HR. And the NYSE schedule has more holidays. That is why the bank side gets 2 personal holidays. Before they added that the brokerage side had more days off a year.

Wells will likely sell its brokerage to JP Morgan, which honestly needs a brokerage. I don't expect Wells Fargo to survive in its current form, so good riddance to Charlie Scharf who came from JP Morgan.
Those who are getting laid off, were you following RTO/ and 8hours in office? Really curious if that has anything to do with it.
@a2 it’s a bank holiday but not NYSE holiday. Those of us following the NYSE holidays are working today unfortunately.

Only the bank is closed. Brokerage side is open.
