This organization looks very strange, I mean the domain merger and the fact that VPs report to VP. On top of that, there are strange creations like Tech Mod, a lot of in-house solutions and a lot of lazy engineering dinosaurs in various positions from Sr Dir to Engineer level, on the other hand, the huge layoffs can destsbilize engineering teams and stability of systems/infrastructure for Nike business.

@ab it's going to be 💯 better than the sh-t we have now. Engineering culture is fked, too many people that don't know thee basics moving to slow and not delivering anything and def not qualified either.

Usually all this aligns to mid to late April.
Whole FTS is a joke. Sr dir or VP are doing engineering designs and/or make technical decisions, the last time they have done anything technical was like 10y ago.
When you ask them on strategy, you get "directional plan" for next 2 months at best, they can't plan or think with broader perspective.
Cherry on top: a directore level individual is vibe coding an entire sollution for bussines domain :)
