I was displaced as I was told I couldn't use my Ada accommodation unless I lived within 50 miles of a hub location and the accommodations team told me as well 'that they'd stop approving it anyway regardless if I still needed it.'
Adding that 'it isn't permanent and shouldn't be used to avoid rto, and we'd get tired of approving it and nobody likes going thru the hassle to bug and get doctors notes approved.'
Stumbled across this article. Very interesting. The ship has sailed for me I guess, I'm already gone and my severance has been well over.
But to anyone else who was cheated out of a job and nearly put an entire family out on a street due to this location strategy, maybe this can help bring others forward and stop the nonsense.
It desperately needs to be looked into. I too, feel that my rating got knocked down to inconsistently meets (found out by signing in after I was displaced, can you believe that?) Wasn't even aware it was out there on workday.
That it was IM because I refused to go to Charlotte. They'd never admit but it's probably likely the reason, probably veiled as something else though.
It's likely too it's personal because they won't even interact with me online, blocked if you will. Perhaps they feel guilty for doing that?
Never in my tenure had I ever had a single problem with performance or attendance.
