4 days a week for Corp Risk folks

does WF have enough space? Our location is quite crowded already.

@d2 A dinosaur who believes since he worked in an office all his life, so should the minions regardless of the fact it was proven the IC back office rolled can be performed from almost anywhere.

@dd I agree. They straight up admit it. It's by design. It would work better if they didn't shoot themselves in the foot of making senior leads give 60 day notice. I wish I could ask the leaders directly their thought process and to see if they are accomplishing what they've strived to do. I don't really see anyone in my space leaving voluntarily. Most of us are not happy in our roles but we stay and either wait for the package or try to find other roles internally. I work with hundreds of people daily. The only time I've seen people leave in the past few months is when they've been laid off. Reg Execution in Corporate Risk was hit bigly last layoff Tuesday, about 45% of that team was cut. None of them left voluntarily.

I am reminded everyday that half of the risk mangers in this company are d-mb and clueless. They create unnecessary bureaucracy and red tape to hide their insecurities. As a result everything takes forever to implement and everyone around them is frustrated and demoralized. Charlie, let’s remove the many layers of redundant management.

@d2 that won’t save you from 4 days in office. They start everything in Corp Risk then cascade elsewhere. Low chance that any role at WF is safe from 4 days outside of special circumstances where there is truly not enough space.

They don't care. They want you to leave Wells. That's why they are intentionally making Corporate Risk Team Members come 4 days a week/8 hour a day.

Does this apply to all teams in Independent Risk management under Derek Flowers? I’m currently interviewing for a job in risk and would like to withdraw my application if I would be required in office 4 days p/week. This was not addressed during my first round interview.

Most people are working the same three days a week most of the time so moving to four days is irrelevant from a space perspective. Also as others have said there will be fewer people needing seats by then anyway.

@an if you go back to 4 days a week you will likely not have to share your cube because you are occupying and people will find a different space. We are creatures of habit

It won't be a problem as layoffs will continue until the end of March. Why do you think they pushed back the 4 days a week? They knew there wouldn't be room in January and that there will be in March.

They should allow IT staff in Corporate Risk to work remotely so the seat‑assignment issues can be resolved.
