@df I think this also confirms that Dan really invented AI the same way Gore invented the interwebs. Those other companies had nothing until Verizon shined it's grace upon their face. Praise be to the AI Dan. The AI Dan is good. All bow before the AI Dan.

@ck It's worse than not wanting to work for Verizon.
After 3 years of anticipation and hope for a utopian AI future, it took less than one year of Verizon involvement before AI indicated it's desire to wipe us out on such a level that Anthropic employees felt the need make a public announcement.

@OP Until AI can physically put de lime in de coconut, I don't know how it could replace field techs. Somebody got to twist that nut and land those wires.
But I think it is already in the works to replace the people monitoring the network by letting AI monitor it and dispatch their human slav... I mean field techs to do what it can't.
That will change once the T-1, T-70, T-600 and T-700 models start hitting the ground. They will be able to replace the field techs after they are neutralized.
