Thread regarding Open Text Corp. layoffs

Besides eDocs, anything else?

NetDocuments acquired eDocs from Opentext. Does anyone know of any other noncore solution being sold off?

@ak that’s not necessarily the case. Would you buy a company like that? Seller would want to actually be able to sell a division with high margins and good customer base as that how you will get a good price for value but knowing they need capital to invest in the product.

@ak anything for low or no margin will be sold for peanuts. Like Netflix selling their DVD division.

non-core means the product has less customers, low growth, poor reputation.
Although Content management product has a poor design, old system, however it makes money.
