Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

Just wondering if anyone saw their paystub in dayforce ? I typically would get my payroll check on Wed although we get paid on Friday’s . I didn’t get a deposit yesterday, which su-ks big time . I am about have to pay so many late fees and etc if I don’t get paid like now !!!

@aj make sure you have documentation they got your equipment. Tried to hold up my check when I left. Thank goodness I kept copies of the shipping label, etc. And was able to get paid on time.

@a2 why 10/9 and not 9/25 if you signed immediately?

Going to guess that if we were to receive the severance check on 9/25, we will see the paystub in Dayforce on 9/23. So, I'll be checking myPay on Wednesday morning.

They are locking people out of workday. Even after they have given you a link. Dayforce is still up and running.

@a9 No. I signed my paperwork in the VSP site. not through workday

Does anyone know if you have to return the equipment first before they release the payment? I’m assuming yes. My equipment was just delivered to them today so I doubt I will be getting my severance this week. That is actually a good thing because in NYS, if your lump sum severance payment is received after 30 days then you get both severance and full unemployment.

@a7 Workday is where you would have received your Termination paperwork and signed the agreement.

Although none of us really know, I think those who signed 9/4 and sent in equipment as soon as you got the notification, may get it this week. I did see some people waited to sign until after their last check, in that case I’d assume they would get their payout in the 9/10 check. Just speculation though. None of us will really know until we log in to day force tomorrow to see a paystub. Fingers crossed we all get it this week! Especially those of us who need to make cobra payments.

@a6 workday access????? Never got email about that but have Dayforce access. Only shows earnings and last pay period now

Thanks. Yeah I singed on 09/04 and got workday access just hoping those of us in the same boat get it sooner than later.

@OP I would say if you signed the termination release last week and have no 401k loan obligations, there should be no issue with receiving severance this week. 9/25

u get ur severance 1-2 pay periods after u sign the release which u should get a link to ur personal email to do a temp workday account set up to access it. Please make sure ur personal email is set up on workday now. If u sign it as soon as u get it next week u should get direct depost on the 9th of october. It has a 7 day waiting period and then there is payroll processing so expect it by the 9th
