Every conversation comes with a little reminder that they can let you go whenever they feel like it. You are never secure or safe and they want you to know that. It's a control tactic and it is draining every bit of energy I have left.

My response would be then " Welp then EVERYONE including all of you should have their resumes updated then... huh... because really nobody is safe in this current climate based ion what you are saying ...." The d-mbest thing to be as a PL is arrogant . PLs can be relaced just as easily as anyone else, and at every level. Performance manaement isn't limited to customer facing/ process workers ... people just don't get to hear about that side of things because those folks are usually out the door faster than you can say " psychological safety " LOL ...
@ag Share what that job is that you can just up and leave and have one tomorrow. The job market is cr-p and thousands of people are competing the same positions because they are getting laid off left and right. I call BS
That’s fine, I could have another job tomorrow to pay the bills. Do not quit out of fear, that is what they want.
That’s why I quit lol and got a better job. I was a Rn care manager and the work was toxic and extremely micromanaged
