Thread regarding Edward Jones layoffs

HBA = needs improvement

It seems like if you are an HBA, a lot of managers are pushing for needs improvement to try to push out HBA’s. Mine came as a surprise, with a PIP, doesn’t seems like they want improvement but a resignation/termination. This place has changed so much…

@qb yes. They are watching HBAs closely. Every little type. Click. And where they are logging in from. I can confirm. Also confirm attorneys are finding the loop holes to make medical HBAS come into the office too …

Same…twice. Was always meets and a few times meets +, and once exceeds. Since ER, I was immediately below expectations, then again with a PIP and offered ISP. I was terrified because of the job market and my prior leader was demoted to my old role and was pi---d. So she had no issue going to bat for me on another internal position and I got it. Was meet first trimester, then bam, below and a PIP. Sometimes I regret not taking the ISP because the way that they are treating all associates is asinine. And I guess to level out the range the home office associates rightfully, feel for being forced to go in the office four days a week, with no assigned us, now they’re watching remote workers like a hawk. I was made aware just like the bad stripes in, they are also tracking HBA’s to ensure that they are logged in from their home location for the entirety of the eight hour workday. I literally feel like I’m walking on eggshells every single day, and have been actively looking for an external position since really honestly I even took this role, because I realized I’m never going to feel safe. And boy was I right. PP and ELT have destroyed this firm, it’s culture and everything we used to stand for just to line their pockets with millions and millions of more dollars.

OP- look up “Constructive Discharge”. It’s happening, but difficult to prove.

I think you're projecting. My last review was exceeds expectation for both my trimester review and annual review.

All unhappy hba's: if you are not satisfied at Edward jones, your front door or back door to your own home is also the company exit door. You know exactly where it is. So use it, and pursue happiness. Or be quiet about hba complaints. Signed, PP pants

@b5 Only insecure people who aren’t skilled enough for their current role are concerned about HBAs.

HBAs are a bigger threat to humanity than AI

Why? Penny and management despises us.
It’s her push to trim headcount to boost profits further. Why? To merge or be acquired. Why change partnership by-laws? Look at the sentence prior.
I have an offer and will giving my two weeks next Monday.
