I have enough saved that I don’t have to go back to work. I can go on my wife’s medical since I’m not Medicaid eligible. At 65 can I and my wife still get supplemental insurance from Verizon at 65? I heard that I can, but if my wife leaves the company insurance now, she can’t come back. Anyone know if this is true?

Supplemental (after Medicare) insurance can be gotten through Via Benefits website and can be accessed via Benefits Connection. They have the monthly premium prices up now through Dec 1st for open enrollment. AARP United Health is one provider, along with Blue Cross and Humana.
All should make sure your sign-on works for Benefits Connection as there is good stuff on the website even after you leave or retire.
If you have a life change, like spouse losing insurance but under 65, VZ benefits will send you a open enrollment letter showing how much the insurance is for your spouse. It is expensive since it is the PPO plan.
Best of luck.
You are likely talking about being eligible for Medicare - not Medicaid. There's a big difference in the two programs. Medicare is age related (with some exceptions), Medicaid is income related - designed for very low income people.
@aa If your wife leaves Verizon and has enough points to retire You will always be eligible for there retirement health, but only can enroll at the enrollment period unless you lose your other Insurance. I think that will bring you in also if you do not have enough points
They have 2 type plans one indemnity, and 2 advantage plans that are more like traditional Medicare because you can use them all over the country with in and out of Network included with no extra cost they include dr-gs, I had to go on the Verizon Medicare Advantage 400 plan to keep my wife on Verizon’s insurance.
