I used to think things could turn around but I don't anymore. The damage is too deep after one too many bad decisions. I don't think there's any saving this place anymore.

PE needs tax write offs and losses to offset their wins. Nike would be a great place to add a bunch of debt and sell off the parts for more.
I would say the Nike leader of the last decade have been draining the company. Feels like a PE company already and we hire the same consultant
@ap Can you believe this id--t things that productivity is only measured in margins
Yea.. I would say this site isn’t a testament to the intellect found at Nike but I’ve heard similar if not worse takes on campus so there is that..
You guys realize that the ES is the least productive store due to discount right?
geee,
No wonder the company is bleeding with employees who do not understand business 101
@aa be careful what you wish for. PE's playbook is to load up the company with debt, strip the cash and cut costs as much as possible to maximize cash flow. Then they su-k out the cash like vampires and either flip the carcass to the public markets or to another PE firm that repeats the process.
@aa what would be the incentive for PE to buy?
@a9 if it is all sold out then that is a good sign ....right? I would have thought seeing all the AF1 and Dunks in the ES was a bad sign. What am I missing?
We should sell to private equity
I was in the employee store recently and there was absolutely nothing that I wanted to buy. It was obvious why the stock is so low.
And the fact that they are entirely sold out of World Cup jerseys is a huge missed opportunity. I only saw nigeria available in the ES and there are basically none left online.
