I signed my paperwork on the same day and don’t see my severance in the system yet I’m so confused
@af it's lump sum so I know in TX you can file and not wait
@ak yes I made sure I had access and could login before my last day on 9/4.
this is the site to access if you know ur username/Pw:

@a4 yes
@OP wait! You still have access to DayForce?
@ae WTF 😩
@a8 That is how it works in Maryland too. I am not considered for unemployment payments until after my 14 weeks of severance has ended.
@ad Me too. I just hung up from talking to a Cobra rep. My subsidy is not showing & my monthly premium is $2,200. He said we may have to pay for visits 100% & apply for reimbursement. This is total BS.
My Cobra payment is still showing over 2k. Anyone else?

"You are not eligible for benefits while you get separation pay, like severance. You may become eligible once the weeks covered by severance pay are complete."
"In North Carolina, employees receiving severance pay are typically not considered unemployed until their severance runs out, which means they cannot collect unemployment benefits during that time. However, a proposed bill (HB 1090) aims to change this, allowing individuals to receive unemployment benefits immediately while still receiving severance pay."

@OP was your last day 9/4?
Live in NC. How can you determine if you’re eligible to apply for unemployment.
