Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

Just checked VSP

Centene is a such a trash company, 11 years here and the offer I received was horrible. Sarah thinks this route is the best way to go, she is going to lose a lot of people. She needs to pony up and pay her share of destruction she made. Shame on her

These numbers are all over the place but assuming because of different salaries. I am estimated at 35k and have been here 2.5 years.

Pretty sure they used their sc--wed up AI to figure out who gets what. Seeing posts from people that have the same exact positions, same exact start dates one with a lower pay grade (because Centene won't pay you more than the state requires them to) and the person making less is getting more than 12 wks plus the 4 additional and the person who makes a little more getting 12 wks plus the additional 4. They dumped everyone financials into AI and let AI draft these proposals I bet. Maybe they are hoping no one talks to each other and notice?

Based on how many years you worked. I hear ppl from 10 to 15 yrs got 24 weeks of pay. Plus 4 wks enhancement plus 8 months of yearly bonus

$42K after 11 years. These offers should be at least one year’s salary - esp in light of the current job market.

@OP I’ve already began job searching. Dreams of working for a company through to retirement is dead…. These companies have loyalty to no one and my manager has yet to reach out to his team… professionalism and empathy went right out the door
