Should I worry about more layoffs this year? I'm thinking between Thanksgiving and Christmas, it'd be truly assholish of them to lay people off. Not that I wouldn't put it past them, but it'd come with some unwanted bad publicity. Am I too naive to think they care?

There were 4 let go in DDP a couple of weeks ago. Now that group only has 1 Datacap Admin.

@OP Had several coworkers who were valuable team members that were laid off exactly two weeks before Christmas in 2023. Very upsetting. All were over the age of 50. Don't give our executive management the benefit of the doubt when it comes to layoffs close to holidays.
I’m nervous they won’t lay me off. The best Christmas gift for me personally is to get laid off from this miserable dump. Yes, it’s that bad for me.
