Hard to believe it’s this tight lipped. It’s like we’re a boat heading to sea. On the horizon we see the big storm bubbling and everyone on the boat is just paddling straight in. Get ready for the waves I guess. Hopefully we actually learn something tomorrow. I find it difficult to believe there’s not one member of leadership that knows what’s going on.

@a8 heard this too. I am not in CXO but heard the reorg part of it is even more massive than the layoffs. That might mean even more layoffs in the spring because people will get reevaluated post-reorganization. Sad to see it, lots of friends there, wishing them the best. Hoping I’m safe. Going to send some email check-ins after the holiday. If I’m still here, hope they are too.

@a2 FALSE. I’m an AD and my leadership said they aren’t allowed to tell me who on my team is impacted until AFTER they are notified tomorrow. I’m safe, apparently. It’s messed up I don’t even know if my own team is hit until after.

@a2 correct. Some band 6 directors know. I heard CXO was hit more than expected.
Sr Engineer in my team was affected this afternoon. We know because he hasn’t been invited to tomorrow’s team meeting and is offline since this afternoon.

People have already been given notice. It just hasn’t hit the last of the bands which is where the biggest impact will be naturally, but it will tomorrow. I won’t put any names out there or say what org I’m part of. Everyone will find out soon enough.
Nothing but rumors. I have been calendar stalking the ADs and SD in my dept. and they have some new 15’s on their calendars tomorrow morning, so they definitely know something, but no one’s gonna tell you sht… typical vz
