How many others have pivoted from "oh, God, please don't let it be me," to "fu-k it, give me my severance" since this all started?

maybe i'd feel this way , but with the predatory health insurance being what it is , I can;t quite hget there mentally. Have you priced out any plans and seen what they actually cover lately ? Criminal
I have always been I don’t care lol. I don’t Iike changes but this one out I my control so I’m just chilling.

Me too. For several days I was feeling really anxious and wanted to stay, but I've settled into I want to go mode now.
After VSP, our team went from 6 to 3 people and consequently our workloads doubled. I work 10-12 hours every day and just can't take on any more, I'm already at breaking point, but know it will be coming if I am 'lucky' and don't get selected.
Staying is now the worst option for me and I really don't want to hang around for the aftermath. 26 years at Verizon and survived every round of RIFs so far, and the way we are being treated this time around truly su-ks.
I wish I could get my brain to act like that. But it is stubbornly refusing. I REALLY love my job, my coworkers are awesome - this place has been the total package. For the first time in a couple of decades, I had a job I looked forward to coming to
I think a lot of us are just tired of feeling anxious and uncertain. We just want to know either way. As for me, I’ve gone through a whole roller coaster of emotions. I think I’m getting laid off tomorrow and I’m ready to accept my fate. I just want to move forward and Verizon in the rear view mirror
