Traditionally we have had performance based layoffs in oct - is that still the case this year or is it november ?

@a8 Yes, meaning the impacted employees are identified.
@a7 not huge and company wide, some are names that they couldn't WFR until worked out with country specific work councils.
These are people who are ready to go? Are you guessing or do you actually know this? Some people had them already dors that confirm they passed this wave? Also, what about the solutions who are supposedly being sold?
@a3 how big and is it only sales or company wide ?
Wave in Oct and a wave in November, these are ready to go (people on lists).
