Join a union for better pay, raises and benefits, and you get more termination pay when you do get laid off, which we all inevitably will be.

We Leg T CWA workers get 6% raise + $1k signing bonus thanks to the union so that's pretty darn good for a worker.

Stinky needs his change. Nothing left for the workers and he needs to acquire high and sell low

For 10+ yrs under Robert Pope - no 1st level mgr got a raise. When he retired/fired/left or disappeared - Caldwell sent us all a check for $1,000 and said he wished he could send us more for Pope's fingering us.

Ditto. Even though the bonus fluctuates on a yearly basis getting one is pretty consistent.
Yes I know you don’t have the benefits of it being added to your base. Luckily I have been able to get a good bonus the past few years plus before bonus time I bump up my 400 to the max which has helped keep my retirement in a decent spot.

Same as always. If you’re at or above midpoint, that’s pretty normal. If you’re below, you’ll get a bigger %. Either way, I’ve noticed my spending power decreasing every year and other companies are paying more, just fyi.

My boss already told me if was gittin' a 5% raise. I'm a bonafied blue chip employee.

Can confirm, the raises are terrible.

The tier-performance combo that got you 3-4% in the past few years gets you 1.5-2% this year. Super top performers at midpoint, or below target good performers .... 2.5%.

HR can say until the end of time that raises are only meant to keep salaries competitive, but every employee knows deep down inside that it should keep up with the cost of living at least and we're getting a pay reduction.

@an never been better? Things here have quite literally never been worse. RTO gutted the company. Talent left, those who stuck just waiting to retire. RTO is also why we rank at the bottom in culture and best places to work.

@an the dividend check? Hopefully that paid for the 30% loss in value over the last 6 months, NOT

@a5 You’ll have no pension anyway when the company goes bust.

Read your docs - the pension is not part of the company after they fund the account. If the company goes bust, the annuity still exists! They also have to provide documentation, I believe 6 months prior, to making any changes to the pension accounts.

Between the dividend check, bonus and pay raises, it has never been better at AT&T.

It has happened before, not at all surprising.
T has to pay for the BIG Lumen purchase.

There is no inflation. Inflation has been defeated. Enjoy your raise.

I haven't gotten mine yet. If its less than inflation, then I'll cut my hours back accordingly.

If my raise is below inflation, I will cut my hours back appropriately.

@a3 you are in a different station of life. Good for you. What about the future? You’ll have no pension anyway when the company goes bust. 80% of this company will retire within 5 years and no one under 50 is being hired as backfills. Nobody wants to work for this 5x8 dinosaur.

At this point in my career, I would rather have the extra bonus money in hand. My pension won’t be impacted one way or the other if I get 2% or 4% raise. Fed will keep lowering rates and the lump sum is going to fly higher than the 1.0 factor on an extra few BSMA basis points.

Why do you think they are funding the pension more with the Trump tax savings? They know they underfunded for years and expect thousands of surplus or retirements over next three years that they better have the cash for distributions.

Besides, I can make more off the extra thousands from 120% bonus than the hundreds off a crummy 1% incremental raise.

This doesn’t even keep up with inflation or cost of living at 3%. Not to mention the extra RTO tax I pay in gas, tolls, and wear and tear. This place is making me hate my life.
