I'm fairly new to the company and haven't been impacted yet. Will there be more layoffs in the future for the US like in 2026, I'm asking because I have an opportunity elsewhere, and I work in support.

Does support still exists? customer ticket has been untouched for several months. At least AI can respond instantly for those and help.

Make the choice which is best for your circumstances.
Some will be staying put because they have a remote working contract, may be close to retirement or for health care benefits.
Just remember that any employer can request that you leave or any employee can leave with not much notice.

As long as the company you can move to is not laying people off by the semi trailer load, off shoring jobs by the cargo ship load and bringing in the H1Bs by the plane load, then walk briskly for the nearest exit.
