@ap I completely agree with the je-k manager who treat their employees like piece of cr-p and play dirty politics to save their job. This manager is keeping H1B type visa employees while letting long time US (citizen) employee go in the name of position elimination. Very unfortunate…

@c2 They should start with the control freak Indian men managers who constantly put Indian woman down and verbally abuse them during the one to one communication where there are no witnesses. It's he said, she said situation. It's not happening only at Nokia India locations but within Nokia globally. People Org (HR) doesn't do much, because their main priority is to protect the company, not the employee. If the job situation within Nokia was better, most would have switched to a better manager. I rather have AI be my manager than the abusive control freaks. And Yes, most Indian men mangers are control freaks.

@c2 Nokia has way too many layers. Need a flatter organization. Four levels is plenty with all the AI tools available.

Well, after using the AI tools provided by the company, I no longer see a need for my boss, who is basically a secretary, regurgitating the same exact status we reported. And the funny part is majority of them don't even know the details of the work involved.
