Thread regarding Fidelity National Information Services Inc. layoffs

Can we breathe yet?

Has the latest round definitely wrapped up? I'm hoping we can get back to normal work without constantly wondering who is next.

Heavily suspicious of the whole "wait until July for raises to go into effect" along with some other things I've heard. Pair that with my colleagues having their last day of June 30, I have zero confidence that this is just over.

No, even this round is not concluded. I personally know of some people who are still waiting to be told if they were RIFFD.

If you are looking for employment stability, you are working for the wrong company. It seems obvious that this is the new plan. It will be implemented in phases to avoid regulatory and media attention. It was done to prevent them from having to pay significant severance to employees who have worked for decades for this company. Their execution (pun intended) is diabolical in it's preservation of capital for the company and devastating to those impacted.
